0 Comments 13 March 2010

Its been a few days since I have posted up anything new which isnt like me, but recently I havnt found anything super exciting, that was until today when YouTube recommended the following video to me. It looks like the guys over at Pagani shot an offical commercial in HD for their Zonda R (which by the way would be the one car I would buy if I had unlimited money and was only allowed to buy on car.) Check out the video after the jump

RC Car With Crazy Detail

1 Comment 05 March 2010

Its been a bit of slow week on the internet as I havent found too much to write about and post up, so I figured that all though this is a bit off topic it was still post worthy. On one of the forums I frequent someone post up a link to RC Crawler. This link was to a thread detailing the build of an radio controlled station wagon along with and attached trailer. When you think of RC cars you don’t think about ghetto ass cars such as beat up station wagons, however that’s exactly what makes this RC build so cool. The details put into this car are amazing. Check out the gallery after the jump to see what I mean.

The car’s stance is complements of an ari ride set up, and is rolling on a set of Image Billet 88 wheels. Interior is rocking some custom interior and includes a set of Recaro Sportster CS seats also with custom matching upholstery.  Be sure to check out the rest of the photos after the jump.

WashabiS2K’s Honda S2000

0 Comments 02 March 2010

I hate to keeping whoring out S2000s on here but when I came across this one today on S2ki I had to post it. Not only is it amazingly clean, but it has some of the most choice parts on it it around. If you know Honda’s then you know ASM. ASM produces some of the best and thee most expensive parts for the S2000. All their parts are designed with maximum function as well as driveabilty. Washabis2k’s S2000 features some of these ASM parts. The car is rocking ASM front bumper, fenders, hood, rear bumper and rear over fenders just to name a few. To add to that its rocking Ohlins coilovers, Bride seats, Stack gauge cluster, Koyo radiator, Vortec supercharger, and a verity of ARC parts. The stance is compliments of BBS LM wheels with aggressive offsets and a hint of stretched tire. Check out all the photos after the jump.

While browsing CanIBeat last week I came across this well stanced S2000 owned by Ramon Collazo. The guys over there are always on the ball at uncovering some of the best stanced cars in the country. The S2000 before you is rocking some 17×9.5 F and 17×10.5 R BBS RS wheels, which in the S2000 world is very aggressive. Besdies the the wheels the car is rocking a J’s Diffuser, Apexi Coilovers, and Status bucket racing seats. As usual check out the fully gallery after the jump, and if you like the photography be sure to check out more of Jonathan DeHate’s work.

New Ken Block Testing Video

0 Comments 26 February 2010

Recently I had posted up a post talking about how Ken Block had switched from working with Subaru over to Ford to drive their new Fiesta in WRC. Well him and his co-driver Alex Gelsomino, didnt have the best of luck at the Sno*Drift Rally after a problem with the suspension resulted in a DNF.

Well both Block and Gelsomino are back at it practicing again for the upcoming 100 Acre Wood Rally that’s this weekend and Monster was nice enough to provide us a Hi Res video of them tearing it up. If Block pulls of a win it will be an amazing 5th consecutive win.  Check out the video after the Jump.

Sierra Sierra Evo 8 Hits 1:44.2 At Buttonwillow

0 Comments 24 February 2010

Remember the Tomi / Cusco STi ? Remember how it ran crazy fast times at Buttonwillow? Remember the HKS Evo and how it holds the record at Buttonwillow? Well things are a changing. Sierra Sierra’s Time Attack Evo * recently beat the Tomi / Cusco STi’s record and is closing in on HKS’s time 1:43.523.  Eric Hsu posted up the following on his blog:

“Last week I went testing with the Sierra Sierra team to test out a bunch of new stuff on the EVO 8 at Buttonwillor Raceway. Some of these new modifications include revised front suspension geometry, stiffer spring combo, larger Garrett T04 turbo, Full-Race twin scroll exhaust manifold, larger exhaust, and a pair of larger custom Cosworth cams. Did it all work? So far so good. I think we are definitely making progress. On Hankook C91 DOT tires and the middle boost level, Dave Empringham piloted the car to a 1:44.2 on Buttonwillow’s configuration 13 clockwise. Good enough to smoke the Tomei/Cusco STi’s, but not quite HKS’ 1:43.523 yet.”

Check out the video after the jump!
