“DESIGN DRIVEN” MASERATI COMPETITION

0 Comments 08 February 2010

Maserati recently held a competition along with Architectural Digest for a “Design Driven” Garage. The contest was looking for the ultimate garages in both built and concept form, to house their beautiful cars and were judged on “noted architectural element, uniqueness and individuality. The winners include a table driven concept that places the car in three different positions and the other acts more like a show room / living room then and actual garage. Check out the press release and gallery after the jump.

Before I redid the blog I had posted up some photos of the serious Subaru GC8. The car looks like it was built with the intent to compete in Time Attack, but I have yet to see if over on timeattackforums.com or at an event. I figured I would post up these photos as well as this car is just an amazing example of a GC8 and you can never have too much of it. Check out the gallery after the jump.

Video: Porsche 911 Commercial

0 Comments 05 February 2010

I came across this video and just had to post it. Porsche does an awesome job of connecting with your emotions on this one. There is a part at the end of the commercial where the narrator says something along the lines of “Theirs the moment you know you want one, theirs the moment you first own one, and for the truly afflicted there is the decade or two that past in between.”  Im at the point of I know I want to own one, but not lucky enought to be at the point of first owning one. :)

Check out the video after the jump.

Unlike some blogs that are dedicated to just imports or domestics or trucks or one specific Industry I want this site to be about any type of well put together automobile. With that said I just had to post up this Toyota FJ Cruiser built by All Pro Offroad. They started off with an already very capable platform and made it just that much better. Fitted on this FJ is a set of Walker Evans wheels, All Pro Front and Rear Bumpers, All Pro under Armor, All Pro Long Travel Coilover Lift Kit, All Pro Roof Rack and much much more. CanIBeat Honda Civic Si

4 Comments 04 February 2010

Yesterday I was checking out CanIBeat.com and came across this dope Honda Civic Si. The car is rocking an awesome stance thanks to some SSR Reverse Mesh in 17×8 +14 Up front and 17×9 +14 in the rear and wrapped in some Falken ZE 512s (205/40, 215/40).

Cristian says they are for sale so if anyone is interested to hit him up:

“If I wasn’t in the process of building a motor & in the market for new wheels I would seriously keep these wheels forever just to look at. These are my all time favorite wheels (right behind sprint hart CPRs). I bought these off of RB Wheel in the beginning of 2009, rocked them during the summer season and just recently took them off my car.  – Cristian Loza

You can check out more photos and get Cristian’s contact info after the jump.

Perfect Example Of A B5 S4 Avant

0 Comments 03 February 2010

I came across one random photo of this B5 Audi S4 and I had to find more. Lucky enough one of users on Motoring Underground posted up another one which I was able to use to find a ton more. :)

What at first I though was European owned RS4 is actually a U.S. owned S4 that had been modified to hell. The car was actually featured in EuroTuner and has some choice mods on it, including BBS CH wheels, widened fenders, RS4 Recaro seats and a lot more. Check out the full gallery after the jump and if anyone knows who the owner is please let me know so I can give him the credit he deserves.

Skyline Powered E36 BMW

0 Comments 03 February 2010

Like usual I was browsing Jon Sibal’s blog and came across this insane BMW E36 3 series. The car is built by DBM Engineering out of the Netherlands. Unlike traditional E36 M3s that are powered by S50 motor, they have swapped it out in favor of RB26DETT Skyline GTR motor thats commonly found in R33 and R34 GTRs. For photos and a couple of vids hit the read more link.
